The billionaire who lived as a beggar, monk and spy



King of Mettupalayam is dead in lockdown. For 40 years he was a beggar, a siddhan and a spy, in front of the registrar's office near the Mettupalayam bus stand. He left the world in disguise, dressed like a king, and lived like a Monk.
Everybody who passes through the town of Mettupalayam was once seen as the face of the great King. The King was very different from his character and his actions. He wore a different hat and a brass ring on all his fingers, like the King.He also had a long stick in his hand. He became a sign of the city itself, though he could not speak the local languages.

In the early hours of the morning, many businessmen from neighboring districts come to give pocket money to the King. He is often injured by extortionists.
Though he occasionally appears to be a beggar, he is a member of a billionaire family in Maharashtra,Says Adv. Sivasuresh.Sivasuresh has known the King for many years. Sivasuresh says his name is Vishnu and he is a highly educated man. His relatives returned him 10 years ago but he refused to go.
According to police reports, the King died on Friday afternoon. The body was brought to the Govindapillai Cemetery with the help of life supporters and buried according to Hindu custom.
