Joy, is the owner of Arakkal Palace, the largest house in Kerala. The influx of visitors that began with the news of Joey's death has not diminished. In the case of covid restrictions, The police strictly control the locals.

Crisis exists to repatriate the body in the wake of the lockdown. Relatives hope the body will be delivered the next day through External Affairs Minister Muralidharan's intervention. Businessman Joey's dream was that his home should be an unparalleled structure that would mark the achievements of his life.

Joy and his brother Johny moved to Arakkal Palace in Mananthavady on December 29, 2018 with their family. Arakkal Palace, which has a grandeur of more than 400,00 sq. Ft., Was in the news when it was under construction.Joy's house was spacious enough for a large family to live together under one roof.The house is designed in a colonial style. The house and the landscape are laid out on a spacious four acre road rise.


Joy came to the UAE as an accountant and became the owner of one of the world's top refineries. Success in life came after many challenges. His nickname was "Ship Joy" as he acquired cargo ships to transport petroleum products to the Middle East.The gates of Arakkal Palace have been opened for the victims of Wayanad, which was the worst flood
